Storytimes & Fall Programs for Young People

The fall lineup of programs for young people are underway and include - 

  • Weekly Storytime programs every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with stories, songs, and activities featuring favorite children's themes and fun for hands-on early learning.
  • Weekly Mathtastic programs - which feature games, activities, and books highlighting math concepts - every Wednesday from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  • Weekly Block & Roll and the Lego Room every Saturday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  Hundreds of blocks and lively music make for a morning of building fun.  Must be elementary age (5+) to play in the Lego Room.
  • Talk Like a Pirate Day with pirate stories and more on Friday, September 19, at 5:30 p.m.  Prizes will be awarded for the best pirate costume and best pirate talk!
  • American Girls Historic Tea Party on Wednesday, September 24, at 3:30 p.m.




The Red Badge Project

The Red Badge Project comes to the Walla Walla Public Library with workshops beginning this October.  Visit the Red Badge Project website at http://www.theredbadgeproject.org and see the unique ways veterans "rediscover their personal voices and realize the value of their experiences and attendant emotions."  The workshops will be offered through a partnership of the Walla Walla Public Library, the Veterans Administration Medical Center, and the Walla Walla County Vet Center. 








Nonresident cards are a bargain!

If you are a nonresident you are paying the same amount that City residents pay through their taxes.
