What do the Friends do?

The Friends of the Library support the Walla Walla Public Library by providing funds for projects outside the scope of the regular library budget.

The Friends of the Library sponsor speakers and authors, supply prizes, awards and give-away items, purchase special equipment and materials. Members of the Friends of the Library volunteer their time at special events in the Library.

You can.

How do I become a member?

Sign up or come to a meeting. Friends of the Library meet every other month. Contact Call Jackie George at 525-7527 or Martha Van Pelt at 524-4440 for information on the next meeting.

Are there dues?

No.
