The library is operating from our temporary location at 115 W Main St. during the year-long renovation project at the main building site. Hours of operation remain the same: Monday-Friday 10 am-7 pm and Saturday 10 am-3 pm. There is an outdoor book return box next to the parking lot along the west side of the building.
City continues to seek residents' input on climate element of Comprehensive Plan

The inclusion of a climate element is mandated by House Bill 1181, which requires Washington cities and counties to include climate resilience policies in their comprehensive plan updates.
As part of this process, the City is inviting area residents to fill out the survey to share their views on how Walla Walla should prepare for natural hazards such as rising temperatures, smoke from wildfires, more intense storms, and flooding.
The survey is available in English and Spanish, and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.
