City Council to meet Monday to discuss local health situation; and other updates

The Walla Walla City Council will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Monday, March 16, or as soon thereafter as possible, to discuss declaring an emergency due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, and take related actions.

Walla Walla Public Schools: WWPS is offering free meals & student-aged childcare to specific families during the 6-week districtwide campus closure due to COVID-19 beginning Tuesday, March 17. Meal pick up at schools 11am-1pm. Delivery as needed. Childcare at schools 8am-3pm.
