City Council to consider moratorium on tenant evictions

In response to the COVID-19 emergency, the Walla Walla City Council will be considering enactment of an ordinance imposing a moratorium on commercial and residential tenant evictions at their City Council meeting to be held April 8, 2020. Anyone wishing to comment on this proposed ordinance must provide their comments either by email to khill@wallawallawa.gov prior to 6:30 p.m. on April 8 or by depositing their written correspondence to the attention of the City Clerk in the City’s utility bill drop box located in front of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers building on North 3rd Avenue by no later than 10:00 a.m. on April 8.
