Summer Reading Program

1. Stop by the Library Send-Off at 238 E. Alder on June 6, 2026 or the Library's temporary location at 115 W. Main St. beginning the week of June 8 and pick up a paper reading log, or pick one up at our outreach events around town.

2. Mark off one circle for each day you read between June 6-August 8. Read to yourself, read aloud to someone else, listen to an audiobook or listen to someone read aloud--it all counts! Read in any format (paper/physical, eBooks, digital audiobooks, books on CD)--it all counts! Read whatever you choose--novels, manga, magazines, non-fiction, biography, picture books--it all counts!

3. Read any 10 days between June 6 and August 8, and claim a grab bag prize at the library front desk between June 15 and August 15, while supplies last.

3. Read any 25 days between June 6 and August 8, and claim a treat coupon at the library front desk between June 30 and August 15.

4. Read any 50 days between June 6 and August 8, and claim a free back-to-school-item and be entered into a drawing for prizes at the library front desk between August 8 and August 15. Prize drawing will be held August 17, 2026. Winners will be notified by August 22, 2026.

Summer Reading for Adults & Teens

Just for adults & teens 11+, Unearth A Story this summer and try something new!

1. Pick up a tracking sheet at the Library Send-Off at 238 E. Alder St. on June 6, 2026 or at the Library's temporary location at 115 W. Main St. beginning the week of June 8 or at one of our outreach events around town, and enter your name in the end-of-summer prize drawing.

2. Check off activities you complete between June 6 and August 8.

3. Complete 5 activities and bring your tracking sheet to the library front desk for a free treat coupon and an additional prize drawing entry.

4. For each additional 5 activities you complete, bring your tracking sheet to the library front desk for a grab bag prize and an additional prize drawing entry.

5. Prize drawing will be held August 17, 2026. Winners will be notified by August 22, 2026.
