READING INSPIRES LIFELONG LEARNING

We want to keep adults, teens, and kids engaged in reading throughout their life. We offer several reading programs designed to encourage reading and make it fun!

Our online reading program allows families and readers of all ages to log and read books for prizes and badges. Our reading programs are provided free through Beanstack – where babies, kids, teens, and adults can all participate to win prizes by completing reading requirements for their category. It also includes book and activity logging, badges and registration for all members of the family under one account. Simply register one time to participate in library sponsored reading programs and activities all year round!

BEANSTACK FAQ

1. Q: Does this cost anything?

A: Nope! Beanstack is 100% free.

2. Q: Can I still do a reading program on paper?

A: Due to the COVID-19 emergency, we’ve gone all-digital at this time; but as you’re able to view this Q&A, that means you could easily sign up for a Beanstack account, and get logging!

3. Q: I need someone to walk me through this--how do I get help?

A: Please see the videos below to sign up, add a reader, reset your password, and much more!

4. Q: I don't want my name or my child's name shared on the Reader Leader board--how do I opt out?

A: Please give us a call at (509) 527-4550, or email us at wwpl@wallawallawa.gov, to opt out.
